Group meets on Tuesday evenings at theBraich Goch Bunkhouse and Inn, Corris. The Braich Goch Cask Ale Society is the organising body for the Gwyl Cwrw Corris Beer Festival held in February of each year. Members are welcome and membership is free. Fairbourne Railway
Like most narrow-gauge lines today, The Fairbourne Railway relies on volunteers, working alongside our full-time staff, to keep running. The Fairbourne Railway Preservation Society welcomes members of all ages who are interested in supporting the continuation of the line. Mawddach Big 8 2 day cycle route
National Cycle Network Route-8, known as the Lôn Las Cymru, runs over 400 km (250 miles) between Holyhead on Anglesey and Cardiff or Chepstow, and is reasoned to be one of the toughest of all the Network. As well as sporting two end-points, the way-marked trail offers a number of route alternatives along its length, and at the heart of a number of decision points, the town of Dolgellau has Route-8 markers leaving in four different directions.

The Three Peaks Yacht Race
The Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race combines yachting and mountain running and cycling into one of the greatest adventure challenges in British sport.
